Visiting PhD Student
Sunniya completed her MS degree in Chemistry from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan. She carried out MS research thesis titled; ‘Evaluation of the biological activities of the novel heterocyclic compounds against HCT116 Colon Cancer Cell Lines’. Since 2017, she is a PhD candidate in Dr. Yameen's Lab at LUMS. Sunniya's PhD resaerch focuses on the synthesis of side chain engineered semiconductor polymer-based materials. In January 2020, she joined the Fruk group as a split-site PhD student for one year and will carry out synthesis of semiconductor polymer-flavin hybrid materials for biological applications.
