Christoph Franck
Christoph holds BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology as well as an MRes in Sensor Technologies and Applications from University of Cambridge. Prior to joining the Fruk Lab in 2016, he was working on visible light photo- and ‘click’-chemistry under supervision of Prof. Christopher Barner-Kowollik. Since 2017, he’s a SensorCDT and AstraZeneca student developing novel ‘Bio-Hybrid Nanomaterials for Vaccine Formulation’. In addition, Christoph is co-founder of the ‘CamBike Sensor’ and ‘open-seneca’ projects, which develop low-cost and open-source air pollution sensors for the developing world. Outside of the lab, he is a passionate musician and President of the Cambridge University Handball Club.
